VINE Program

This project is a free service to Kansas victims sponsored by the Kansas Department of Labor, the Office of the Kansas Attorney General, and the Kansas Sheriff’s Association. This video explains the program:

VINELink is the online version of VINE – Victim Information and Notification Everyday, the National Victim Notification Network. This service allows crime victims to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders 24 hours a day. Some states have the ability to display this website in Spanish. Victims and other concerned citizens can also register to be notified by phone, email, text message SMS or TTY device when an offenders custody status changes. Users can also register through their participating state or county toll-free number.

Welcome to VINELink, an online portal to VINE, America’s number one victim notification network. VINE has been providing victims and concerned citizens with the power of information for decades, allowing these individuals to have the sense of security that they deserve. VINELink can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide the most reliable information for custody status changes and criminal case information.

The VINE service provides information by phone, email, TTY, and text message where available. You may also sign up through your participating state, or county’s toll-free number.

The service can be accessed by calling 1-866-574-8463 (1-866-KS-4-VINE) or by accessing their website or by downloading an app on a smartphone VINEMobile.
