D.A.R.E. Program

To help keep our children on the path to success, the Kearny County Sheriff’s Office has been very active in teaching the D.A.R.E. program in the Lakin and Deerfield Schools since 1994. The 2017 instruction of D.A.R.E. is coming to an end and the culmination exercise will happen on April 20 in Deerfield and April 26 in Lakin.

The School Resource Officers (SROs)  Garnett Hartman and Kyle Carlisle enjoy teaching the program and interacting with the students.
