Emergency Medical Services
Kearny County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is an ambulance service that serves the citizens of Kearny County including the cities of Deerfield and Lakin. We are comprised of 9 full-time employees and volunteers that cover call 24/7. We respond to approximately 400 calls per year ranging from lift-assists, medical emergencies, vehicle and farm accidents, and interfacility transfers.
In addition to responding to emergency calls, EMS also provides public education in:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- First Aid
- Stop the Bleed
- Continuing Education for Pre-Hospital Providers
